"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

thanks for the comment on my pic. most of my art is original characters, my own, actually. but it's no fun to never draw anyone's characters but your own :\ besides, it's fun to try and take a character and put them in your own style. that's what fanart is all about.
